The strongest asset receives extra weight because elite lineup spots are difficult to replace.

What makes the model useful

More than two piles of numbers

Most bad trade advice begins by treating every point of value as interchangeable. Fantasy lineups do not work that way.

01

Format-aware values

Superflex raises the replacement cost of quarterbacks. PPR rewards target earners. Dynasty extends the time horizon and makes future picks real assets.

02

Consolidation pressure

The best player in a deal receives a lineup premium while extra pieces face diminishing returns. That mirrors the cost of turning depth into a weekly difference-maker.

03

Confidence, not certainty

Close deals are labeled as preference calls. Wider gaps receive stronger language. Volatile assets and thin samples reduce the model’s confidence.

Quick answers

Fantasy trade analyzer FAQ

How does the fantasy football trade analyzer work?

It starts with the Pilot Value for each asset, adjusts that value for league type and scoring, then applies a consolidation adjustment so several bench pieces do not automatically equal one elite starter. The result is a directional decision aid, not a prediction.

Does it support dynasty and redraft leagues?

Yes. Dynasty mode weighs age, career runway, and draft picks. Redraft mode focuses on the current season, lineup impact, role security, and positional replacement value.

Why can two equally valued trades receive different verdicts?

Roster spots have value. In most fantasy leagues, one elite weekly starter is worth more than several players whose points stay on the bench. League format and scoring can also change positional scarcity.

How often are values updated?

The current preseason model is dated July 25, 2026. During the NFL season, the product is designed for weekly model refreshes plus event-driven reviews after major injuries and depth-chart changes.
